This shoot was a special one for me. It was one of the very first shoots I did after officially starting my photography business. It was the first shoot I did after deciding to follow my dreams. It was also special because it's my very first blog post!
The last four months of my life have seen a lot of "firsts." First time starting a business, first time filing sales tax, first time I've ever worked SO hard at a job, first time starting a senior model program, (shout out to my amazing Senior Elite models!) first time having a job I absolutely LOVE! The list goes on and on.
It's been some of the hardest four months, but it's also been the best four months of my life. I can't imagine ever going back to a nine-five job that I absolutely hate again. I can't imagine working full time doing something I don't care about. Now that I know what it's like to begin my dreams, I don't know that I'll ever be able to go back to a life of working full time for someone else's dreams.
I loved every minute of this shoot because I actually know Zech! Although I strive to have a personal relationship with all my "clients," (I don't even really like calling them that!) it helps even more when you already know them.

I've had the privilege of watching Zech grow up the past three to four years at the youth group at our church, Liberty Church. He reached out to have me do his senior photos and I couldn't be more thrilled that he did! Zech is such a fun guy to be around, he's a genuinely nice guy who truly cares about people. I was so excited when he asked me to do his photos because I knew we would create some amazing pictures together. Here are some of my favorites that we got from his senior shoot!
